A winner of the “Discovery”/The Nation Award and the recipient of residential fellowship from the Camargo Foundation in Cassis\, France\, she has also been a visiting artist and scholar at the American Academy in Rome. \n Since 2008\, Elizabeth Savage has served as poetry editor for Kestrel: A Journal of Literature & Art. Her third book of poetry\, Daylight Scoured\, and a fourth chapbook\, Detail\, will be published later this year. New poems appear or are forthcoming in Denver Quarterly\, Hotel Amerika\, and Shenandoah. New critical works appear in Quo Anima: spirituality and innovation in contemporary women’s poetry and Journal of Modern Literature. She is a professor of English at Fairmont State University in Fairmont\, West Virginia.
